You stand in the entrance to a small but comfortable room (actually the top floor of a shop in Alfandra, although you did not enter through the shop). The walls are lined with models and images of dragons of all shapes and sizes, and there are several labelled doors (which is odd, since there is only enough room on top of the shop for the one room you are currently in). Taking a cautious (but obviously not cautious enough) step forward, you tread on a hidden metal panel, and imediately a slightly transparent image springs to life in the middle of the cave. It appears to be a dragon. An eight foot long female dragon (don't try to work out how you know she's female - you just know) with pearly silver-green skin, big wings, violet dorsal-spikes and yellow eyes. She smiles in a friendly manner and says:
"Greetings, friend dragon, human or whatever you happen to be. My name is Hespa, welcome to my home lair! I'm afraid I'm not home at the moment, probably off somewhere in Alfandra, a.k.a the alt.fan.dragons newsgroup. In the meantime, feel free to explore my home, but please don't take anything without asking. Oh, and if you happen to be passing through Alfandra anytime, come and say 'hi'. I'd love to see you!"
(I'm always open to comments and even constructive
criticism, although if you want to flame me please warn me to duck...)
My web-lair has been visited
times since moving to weyr.org (11/2/02)
(counter by BOINGDRAGON)

Walking further in, you get a closer look at the doors. Each is made of a strange greenish metal, which is amazingly light and swings open at the first touch. All the doors have an inscription in curly, gold lettering. The closest reads Library. The others, in order around the wall, are Gallery, Portal Room, Clubhouse and Spirit Cave.
In the main cave, you can also see my Dragon Code, and a couple of other odds & ends.
A little purple hatchling hovers warily to one side. Her name is Flute, and she is Hespa's adopted little sister/daughter. She is always happy to have visitors, but hopes that you don't mind if she keeps an eye on you while you are here. As for how you suddenly know all this... don't ask...

My Dragon Code
runs thus (with explanations, cos if you're anything like me you're probably
too lazy to look it up yourself!)...

With many thanks to Baxil (the original creator of the code) and Wyrm (creator and maintainer of DC2, the new dragon code). **huggles**
I am classified as a Gymnodracus Megaptera, or Large-Winged Dragon; and I am 58% Draconic(Dragon trapped in a human body).
